Mentory Circle Terms & Conditions

The rules for joining Mentory Circle, written as plainly as we can. Read the sections on cost, refunds and repeating a level before you pay.

1. About us

Mentory Circle is an online full-stack coding bootcamp run by PT Mentory Sirkel Indonesia, based in Jakarta ("we"). These Terms & Conditions apply to anyone who signs up, joins a free class or becomes a student ("you").

By signing up or paying, you agree to these terms. If the Indonesian and English versions differ, the Indonesian version applies.

2. How the programme runs

The Career Acceleration Circle programme has 10 levels in 3 stages: Initiate, Builder and Product Architect. All classes are online, in 3-week rolling cohorts.

Live classes with a mentor run on Zoom. The first class link is emailed the day before; later class links are in your dashboard.
Every level ends with an assessment. You move up by passing it, not by attending.
A class recording opens in your dashboard after you check out of that class.
We may update the curriculum to follow the industry, and you get those updates.
Class schedules can change. If they do, we let you know in advance by email or in the dashboard.
If we cancel or postpone a class or level you have paid for, we move you to the next cohort at no extra cost.

3. Free classes and the entrance assessment

The opening class of every level is free and comes with no commitment, so you can see the material and how we teach before you pay.
Before you pay, your account is a guest account and can only open the free class material.
Alumni of other bootcamps can take the entrance assessment for free. Pass it and you start at Stage 2 without paying for Stage 1. Our mentors decide the result.

4. Cost and payment

Your first payment is the Rp500.000 commitment fee (once, on enrollment) plus the Level 1 fee. Each later level is paid when you move up to it.
Level fees start at Rp300.000. The fee that applies is the one shown in your dashboard when you pay. We may change fees for future payments, but never for a payment you have already made.
You pay by bank transfer to the account shown in your dashboard, then upload the transfer receipt. Our team checks it and emails you the result. Class access opens once the payment is confirmed.
If we cannot confirm a receipt, we tell you why and you can upload it again.
Someone else, such as a parent, may pay on your behalf.

5. No refunds

Confirmed payments, both the commitment fee and level fees, are not refundable, including if you stop partway through a level.

That is why the opening class of every level is free: see it first, then pay. If there is a problem with your payment, contact us at official@mentorycircle.com.

6. Repeating a level and stepping back

If you do not pass an assessment, you repeat that level with the next cohort. One repeat after not passing is free for the whole programme. Any further repeat, at any level, costs the current level fee.
You may repeat a level you already passed if it does not feel solid yet. Repeating by your own choice costs the current level fee.
During the programme you get one free step back to the previous level, at any level. You join the next cohort at the previous level. This applies once for the whole programme and cannot be exchanged for money.

7. Your obligations

Your account, class links and recordings are for you only. Do not share them.
Do your own assignments and assessments. Submitting someone else’s work as your own can mean failing the assessment.
Follow the AI policy for each stage: no AI in Stage 1, AI allowed in Stage 2, AI required in Stage 3 with how you use it assessed. Bug Hunt exercises in every level are done without AI.
Treat others in class and in the community with respect. No harassment, hate speech or spam.
Give accurate details when you sign up.

8. Intellectual property

The material, curriculum, recordings, exercises and example code belong to PT Mentory Sirkel Indonesia. You may use them to learn, but not to sell, re-teach or distribute.
The projects and code you build yourself are yours. We may show your final project as an example of student work, credited to you, unless you ask us not to.

9. No job guarantee

We do not promise job placement and do not publish placement numbers. What the Stage 3 curriculum includes: a portfolio audit, mock interviews, career coaching and support while you apply.

10. Certificate

Students who pass receive a certificate. Even so, what we stress most is your portfolio: products anyone can open and use.

11. Ending access

We may suspend or close your access if you break these terms, for example by sharing your account or recordings, or by disrupting other students. Fees already paid are not refunded in that case.
You can stop at any time by telling us by email.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The last-updated date is at the top of this page, and we announce important changes by email or in the dashboard.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute arises, we first try to settle it by discussion. If that fails, it goes to the competent district court in Jakarta.
